How to Restore Inventory (BETA) with BackupMaster for Shopify


BackupMaster now supports the backup of inventory quantities for each product. This feature allows you to access and restore your inventory data efficiently. Currently, this feature is in BETA, and we are closely monitoring its performance. Steps to Restore Inventory Quantities

  1. Access Backup Storage:
    • Open the BackupMaster app from your Shopify admin dashboard.
    • Navigate to the "Backup Storage" section.
  2. Find Backed-Up Locations:
    • Click on the "Inventories" category.
    • You will see a list of backed-up locations.
  3. Select a Version:
    • Choose the desired location from the list.
    • Select the version you wish to restore.
  4. Download CSV File:
    • Click the "Download CSV" button to get a file containing the inventory quantities for the selected location.
  5. Check Quantities:
    • Open the CSV file to review the inventory quantities for each product.
  6. Import CSV to Shopify:
    • If you need to restore the inventory quantities, use Shopify's standard import function.
